The U.S. is facing a severe shortage of primary care clinicians. In Oregon, our family, friends, and neighbors lack adequate access to primary care.

We’re alarmed that decades of underinvestment in primary care has driven this crisis and given us the worst health outcomes of all high-income nations.

By talking about our personal experiences with primary care, we are raising awareness of its value and the urgent need for policymakers to make access to primary care a priority for Oregonians and for the nation.

We envision an Oregon made healthier through high-quality primary care for all.
